Our Mission:
The Pre-Physical Therapy Society at UTSA is an organization that provides both a community and various resources to students interested in the physical therapy profession. Our organization informs students of the requirements necessary to apply to PT school, and serves as a support group for the educational and social interests of our members throughout their undergraduate journey!
Meetings are held Tuesdays at 7:30pm via Zoom, on a bi-weekly basis.
Throughout the course of the academic year we host host a variety of guest speakers that provide great informational and networking opportunities for prospective physical therapy students. Our speakers include physical therapists that share their personal experiences in the field, as well as DPT program representatives that inform our members about the admissions process, student life and the necessary steps to take towards becoming a competitive applicant for their program. Overall, becoming a member of our society gives students the opportunity to support one another, make friends, and most importantly have fun!
